While getting his Associate's Degree of Arts and Sciences (emphasis on Art!) at the College of Southern Maryland, he was featured in the Spring Student juried exhibition and won Best in Drawing and Painting. He was awarded a Foundation Scholarship in Fall 2023, and an Art Department Scholarship Fund Award in Spring 2025 during his time at Towson University.
Leonardo Waddell is an Illustrator, Designer, and Artist born and raised in the cozy coastal areas of Southern Maryland. He was drawn to pencil and paper from a very young age and as he grew up, he discovered his love for graphic novels, comic books, film, and video games— all of which inspire his work even to this day.
Leo is graduated from Towson University in 2025 with a BFA in Illustration. He currently lives in Lusby, Maryland.
